My little book about a hedgewitch on a mission was named a semi-finalist at the Weatherwax Report for this year’s SPFBO. Enter thrilled author stage left, who was suffering from imposter syndrome. Thank goodness for well-timed blog posts. I got myself a fancy sticker for the cover. However, I’m waiting to see how much further my little bird can fly before printing the stickers and adding them to the actual books. There are some outstanding books in the contest this year, so honestly, I don’t have the highest hopes. It’s nice to have some new eyes on my work and to hear that it isn’t terrible.
Not bad for a failed Nanowrimo novel that sat collecting dust for three years.
